Custom Gazebo Canopy Replacement: How to Measure an Existing Gazebo Canopy or Frame

Custom Gazebo Canopy Replacement: How to Measure Your Existing Canopy or Frame

Need a replacement canopy for your existing gazebo frame? To help us make a better fitting custom gazebo canopy , please send clear photos and a few key measurements.

For best accuracy, we recommend two people take the measurements, as gazebo canopy fabric is normally under light tension when installed on the frame.

Method 1: Measure from Your Existing Canopy

If your old canopy still fits the frame, this is usually the easiest method. Lay the canopy flat on a clean surface. Two people should gently hold the fabric straight and lightly tensioned, but do not over-stretch it. Please measure in millimetres.

How to measure an old gazebo canopy for custom gazebo canopy replacement printing
A – Edge to edge width Measure across the full bottom edge.
B – Peak to bottom edge Measure straight from the top peak to the bottom edge.
C – Valance height Measure from the bottom edge up to the angled valance top point.

Please also send photos of the full canopy laid flat, the corner pockets, centre peak, Velcro, straps or eyelets. These details help us check the fixing points before production.

Method 2: Measure from the Existing Gazebo Frame

If the canopy is missing or too damaged, you can measure the frame instead. The frame must be fully opened, square, and locked in position. Do not measure a partly opened frame, as the size will be inaccurate.
